Idea
Nonprofit apparel usually gets two things wrong. It’s rarely well designed, and it only comes out of the closet on event day. We set out to change that by designing apparel people want to wear any day of the week, so the cause travels well beyond the event.
Execution
One apparel design approach, shared across Big Brothers Big Sisters of KC, Halo Foundation, Next Page Foundation, and Guadalupe Centers. Our KC coffee campaign is one example. Cafe Caphe, Rochester Brewing, and Blip Roaster came together under one unified design, each with its own signature color.
Outcomes
Funds raised from donations helped more than 50,000 people, and the work gave every partner a reason to be worn, not just worn once. Our design expertise made the apparel something people chose to wear, again and again.
